For 30 years, impassioned people of archaeology and mining speleology have explored 70 kilometers of galleries. Today, they propose to you to accompany them in a voyage out of time : one half-day to discover Saint-Louis Eisenthür silver mine.

Gabe Gottes mine

Digged in 16th century, « Heilig Kreuz » mine became in 18th century Gabe Gottes mine.

Today, you can discover exploitation phasis going with a guide, through an underground visit that does not contain any difficulty.

Total visit duration :
1h30 to 2 hours including at least 40 minutes underground.

   Plan d'accès

The adventure can begin !

  • Reception in the town centre by the guides of the ASEPAM.
  • Route 5 kilometers in personal vehicles.
  
  • Walk to the mine (*5 mn for Gabe Gottes, *30mn for St Louis Eisenthür).
  • Equipment and departure for the underground adventure !

Useful information

You need to bring :

  • Hardwearing trousers.
  • Good walking shoes.
  • Thick socks and warm pull over. (8 to 10°C underground all year)
  

Provided :

  • Helmets with lamps.
  • Boots.
  • Oilskins
